Three River’s Float and Dine BBQ Cruise

If you’re looking for a casual dinner, and not feeling like driving, then the BBQ Cruise is a great alternative to our Garlic Mike’s Float and Dine.

Start out at Three Rivers Resort and enjoy an 8-mile scenic float trip on the Gunnison River before dining at our Three Rivers Smokehouse.

Sit back and relax—our guides will not only row you down the river, but they will also shuttle you back to Three Rivers! If you’re staying with us, you can leave your car at the cabin, and get ready for a great evening in our favorite place.

Adults (ages 12 and up) will receive the float trip ($55) plus a voucher for up to $30 per adult to be spent for dinner at the Three Rivers Smokehouse. Kids ages 11 and below will pay $45 for the float trip, and dinner will be paid for separately at the Smokehouse. If you spend more than the voucher, just pay the additional at the restaurant. Fees do not include gratuity for guide or server. Refunds are not given if spending is under the voucher amount.

Available 7 nights a week with a minimum of 4 people.

Minimum age is 5 years old, but exceptions can be made for younger kids if they are 30lb (min lifejacket rating). Just know that this is a longer float, and it can be a long time to sit for those little ones. Maximum # per trip is 12. For large groups, we will accommodate the raft trip at the package price, and the dinner will be paid for separately at the Smokehouse.

Arrive at Three Rivers Resort 30 minutes in advance of trip time. Do not wear jeans or heavy cotton. **To save time at check-in, download waivers from this page and bring them completed with you, or click on the link in your confirmation to sign electronically. It can be very busy during raft check-in so we ask you to please be on time!**

Price: $85 per adult (ages 12 and up); $45 float for anyone ages 11 and under

Includes: Float trip, adult dinner vouchers, splash gear, booties, PFD (lifejacket), vehicle shuttle to Three Rivers Resort, and 3% US Forest Fee. Does NOT include gratuity for raft guide or server.

Trip Time: Depart Three Rivers Resort by 4:30 pm (Meeting time will take place at 3:30 pm); seating for dinner is around 7:00 pm.

River Distance: 8 miles

Total Trip Time: approx. 2.5 hrs. for the float and shuttle back to Three Rivers Smokehouse
