Live Music: Sean Turner & Friends w/ Julian Young

Kochevar’s Saloon in downtown Crested Butte is hosting a special ski-town music night featuring Sean Turner & Friends with Julian Young bringing a mix of improvised live sets and community-rooted grooves to the saloon’s relaxed, dive-bar meets live-music vibe.

Turner, a longtime valley musician known for hopping between styles from rock and punk to roots and honky-tonk with a loose, energetic band feel, leads the evening with fellow players sliding in and out of songs like seasoned après-ski collaborators.

Young, a Colorado-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with a soulful blend of jazz, rock, and contemporary influences, adds dynamic vocals and musicianship that lifts the night into a lively, melodic space.

It’s a laid-back crowd of locals, riders, and visitors soaking up warm tunes, shuffles, and jams that carry the spirit of mountain nightlife straight from the slopes into an unforgettable late-winter saloon set.
