Kids Afternoon Play With Art

Sometimes it’s about the journey, not the destination. Join us in this afternoon half-day program to explore art through play, by getting hands on with unique and familiar materials, free form creation, getting messy, and of course; having FUN!

At the Trailhead Children’s Museum we believe in and teach process art. Process Art is an artistic approach- where the act of creation, the exploration of materials, and the journey are the primary focus, rather than a planned final product. This approach builds confidence, creativity, encourages problem solving, and sensory awareness.

Classes must have a total of 2 or more children registered in order to run. If there are not enough children registered, please note that age groups may be combined or the class will be canceled. Classes will be canceled with at least 24 hours notice, and classes canceled by the Trailhead will be fully refunded.**

Children must be 3 years old potty trained and independent. Unfortunately we cannot make any exceptions to this criteria.
