Iyengar Yoga (Open Level)
Iyengar Yoga focuses on precise body alignment, the use of props to help students of all abilities perform the asanas, and an understanding of the therapeutic potential of yoga.
The asanas build strength, flexibility, stamina, balance and aid in stress reduction. Postures are held for longer periods of time in order to cultivate control of the breath, concentration, and inward self study.
Open level classes are all levels classes that are great for yogis of all levels and abilities. These classes are suitable for beginners and advanced practitioners alike. Open level classes will offer alternative postures and modifications so that the pace and structure of the class are suitable for all bodies.
