Evening Youth Whitewater Kayaking Camp (Four Day Ages 10-17)
Want to learn to kayak?
Join us for this 4-evening camp; you will learn boat fitting, wet exits, basic strokes, balancing, safety, and the T-rescue.
Throughout the week you will be introduced to river safety and hydrology, whitewater risk assessment, advanced stroke technique, and how to roll your kayak.
The 1st evening of this course will take place in a flatwater venue. All other evenings we will paddle on the river.
Must be a proficient swimmer. Age groups will be split into two groups (10–13) and (14–17). Choice pass discounts and subsidies are available for those in need. Please inquire here.
