Crested Butte Mountain Resort Opening Day – Winter 2026

The wait is over. Winter is back at Crested Butte Mountain Resort! Join us as we kick off a brand-new season and celebrate the return of snow, turns, and mountain memories. Be in the base area for Opening Chair at 9:00 a.m., with DJ MIJO spinning live to welcome skiers and riders onto the mountain and keep the energy high all morning long.

Arrive early to grab a complimentary Opening Day poster and hot cocoa beginning at 8:30 a.m., available while supplies last. Then soak in the excitement as the lifts start turning and another season officially begins.
