Beginner’s Wheel Class

Ever wanted to try throwing on the wheel? Come to the Hanovi Ceramics Studio in Riverland, and jump in our beginner’s wheel-throwing class!

Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to create a variety of functional and decorative pottery pieces, including bowls, cups, plates, and vases. Our experienced instructor will guide you through each step of the process, providing demonstrations and one-on-one support as needed.

We will cover essential pottery techniques such as centering, pulling, shaping, and trimming. You will also learn about different types of clay, glazing, and firing methods.

This class is designed for beginners with little to no experience in pottery-making, and we welcome students of all ages and backgrounds. By the end of the course, you will have developed a solid understanding of wheel-throwing pottery and created several beautiful pieces to take home.
