Alpenglow Concert Series: Black Opry

WXPN’s Black Opry Residency celebrates and amplifies Black Americana musicians working to reclaim their place in the American musical cannon. Americana is an umbrella term that integrates traditional roots music genres including country, bluegrass, folk, blues, gospel, alternative country, and singer-songwriter.

Alpenglow is back and better than ever. Join the Center for Arts in Crested Butte for the 31st summer of our free, community concert series.

Rain or shine, music starts in Town Park at 5:30. Bring a chair, a blanket, and your dancing shoes! Local food vendors and a bar will be available at every concert to create the perfect picnic.

Please no dogs, no outside alcohol, and no glass. Please do not dump ice onto Town Park. PLEASE take the bus or ride your bike – it’s good for the planet! If you do drive, please park at Crested Butte Community School or at the 4-way Stop.
