This place absolutely rocks. The staff are incredibly friendly and down to earth and even the other patrons go out of their way to be friendly and welcoming.

I shot pool here for an hour by myself for an extremely good price ($10/hr). The tables are level, well maintained, and great to play on. Easily the best pool scene in Gunnison county. I will definitely be returning to the Sage Grouse Lounge in the near future.

The Sage Grouse is a fantastic new addition to Gunnison’s dining and bar scene. The staff is outstanding (special shoutout to Erin!), the drinks are delicious, and the atmosphere is spot-on. I truly believe this place will elevate the local bar scene and help bring it back to life.

We got pizza, cocktails, and played golf simulator for an hour. The cocktails were delicious and unique! They also have popcorn and nice dogs are allowed on patio. Did not play darts, but want to next time!

The vibes are cool, the drinks are fire. When I walked in I knew everyone there. It already feels like home. So needed in Gunnison. There’s pool and a golf simulator, great music, great service. I got the “Go for The Green” cocktails and it was perfectly balanced, light and fresh.

We love The Grouse! What a perfect addition to the south valley. It’s exactly what we needed to compliment downtown – a fun, clean (and smoke free!) bar in Gunnison, without all the pretense. The cocktails are great and the beer selection is flush. Pool, golf simulator, popcorn machine, awesome patio – can’t beat it!

Such a great spot to grab a beer, mixed drinks or shoot pool/hit some golf balls.

Was greeted by the owner and offered an extensive list of options for drinks. Two pool tables, a golf simulator and tvs with sports. What more could you want. And stays open late!
