Such a great experience mountain biking for the first time. Very knowledgeable guide who let us set the pace and take on some bigger challenges. Appreciated the training in the beginning before hitting the trails that gave us some pointers on how to maneuver on the bike. 10/10 would recommend this experience.

Had a great experience with the whole family on a morning rock climbing tour for our son’s birthday. All of the kids loved it (13, 14 and 18), and the parents got in on it as well. Our guide Karin was awesome – patient, encouraging and positive. Would do it again!

Absolutely amazing experience doing my AIARE Level 1 course with Irwin!! Learned so much and had a great time doing it. Super professional and knowledgeable guides – Lani, Zach, and Ian were all awesome and made everyone feel safe while also pushing us to craft our own good decisions, and giving everyone the perfect head start to becoming confident, independent backcountry travelers. 10/10 don’t hesitate to book a trip with them if you’re considering it, you definitely will not regret it.

I had the opportunity to take an intro to backcountry skiing tour w/ Irwin Guide Chris M. It was a truly unique and memorable experience. Everything about the process from selecting a trip, getting coordinated beforehand and the on mountain experience was extremely professional and very smooth. Chris is an excellent and knowledgeable guide. I felt that he crafted the tour to meet my level of interest in technique and information about avalanche awareness and travel. We had a great day and skied some untracked lines in awesome powder. Would highly recommend.

We went out with them on 3/2/20, Introduction to Backcountry. I can’t stress enough how professional, knowledge, and overall how wonderful both Chris and Dom are. These guys made it a day that both my son and I will never forget. Five star operation all the way.

Very good experience. Guides and all support staff are very well trained, courteous and professional. Wish we could have had more terrain choices but evidently too much snow created potential for Avalanche danger. All 9 runs were loops of same terrain which was out of their control. My son and I hope to be back many times in the future and may even try to do their Iceland experience!

Took an avalanche 1 course at the maroon hut. Tim and Chris were our guides. Super knowledgeable guys that enjoy what they do and teaching others how to be safe. I had a blast all weekend long and would highly recommend them for an avalanche course.

My 15 year old son and I Hired Irwin backcountry guides to to take us on our 1st BC Touring trip. Nothing but AWESOME!!!! This is one of the best run outfits I have ever come across. Tiff the GM is so awesome and covers everything with you. Nothing hidden at all. Evan Ross was our guide and I must say one of the funnest and talented guys I have ever met. What a skier, and teacher. This has to be the funnest, most challenging, beautiful trips I have ever been on. I will definitely be back this fall.
