Cristiana Guesthaus, a cozy family run bed and breakfast lodge, is the perfect lodging choice for your Crested Butte vacation both in summer and winter.

Conveniently located just one block north of Elk Avenue and the main business district, the lodge is a short walk to shops and restaurants and about 50 yards from the free shuttle to Crested Butte Mountain and to the Nordic ski center.

Hiking and mountain biking trails are also easily accessible. Built in the early 1960s as the first lodge for the new ski area, the Cristiana owes its heritage to the ski lodges of Europe.

I really enjoyed my stay at Cristiana’s Guesthaus. I arrived a bit before 5 pm, and there were fresh baked cookies waiting for me, and a glass of wine, as they were doing a little happy hour. The hosts greeted me kindly and helped me get settled. They have great advice for hikes and things to do. It was just so genuine and helpful. Loved it.
The space itself was perfect for me. Rooms were small, but clean and comfortable. The common spaces (there were several) were very nice, and normally quiet. The opportunity to mix with other guests was available, but not required. Plenty of space and time for privacy.
I definitely recommend Cristiana’s Guesthous for individuals, couples or families on the go!

This charming little place gets all the important things right. Great location, good beds, cozy gathering spot with fireplace, friendly owners, nice outdoor hot tub, and fantastic breakfast! Best of all, no TVs in the rooms! Our favorite place to stay in Crested Butte.

My family had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. I would say this is a 2-star hotel with 5-star service. The owners and their staff are all fabulous and super helpful. The facility is homey and has everything you need for a few days’ stay. As everyone else has said, the location is absolutely perfect. The shuttle station is a couple of minutes walk away. There’s a locked room to store skis/snowboards. The rooms are on the small side though and the walls are a little thin. So if you’re a light sleeper, definitely bring ear plugs.
Will definitely consider staying here again when we return to CB.
