What the Water Brings
Presented by the Crested Butte School of Dance
What the Water Brings is a contemporary dance ceremony honoring water as the source of life.
It is a collective prayer for rain, snow, planetary health, and the ecosystems that sustain us.
Drawing on ancient rituals of offering and gratitude, the work invites reflection on the external and internal landscapes and seasons of abundance, drought, and renewal.
The production is a living ceremony where choreographers, dancers, musicians, visual artists, and audiences participate together in movement, ritual, and a shared invocation of hope, gratitude, and endurance.
