Calling all alumni, community members, and the Western family: Join us for an epic weekend of skiing, après, and adventure! Mark your calendars for February 6 – 8.

Friday | Rail Jam
Start Western Ski Weekend on a high note by joining us for an epic student tradition, the 15th Annual Rail Jam. An on-campus ski and snowboard competition where students, community members, and alumni hit custom-built rails and jumps on Taylor Lawn to showcase their best tricks.

Saturday | Mountaineers Day on the Mountain
Hit the slopes at Crested Butte Mountain Resort for a day of skiing and riding with fellow alumni and friends. Plus, don’t miss out on the Western Mountain Sports Alpine Race on Buckley 9:30-10:00 AM and 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM.

Saturday Evening | Après-Ski Party
Wrap up the ski day at our exciting Après-Ski Party from 3:30 – 5:30 PM, hosted at Butte 66. Join us after a day on the slopes to relax, connect, and celebrate the Western spirit with drinks and hors d’oeuvres!

Sunday | Breakfast in the Backcountry
Start your day with our Breakfast in the Backcountry. Check-in at the CB Nordic Center at 9 AM to pick up your trail pass and free rental gear. From there, you will take a scenic cross-country ski or snowshoe trek to CB Nordic’s charming yurt. Enjoy delicious breakfast and breathtaking views, with free rentals provided by the Crested Butte Nordic Center.
