Rail Jam | February 9 | Taylor Lawn | 5 pm

Kick-off Western Ski Weekend by joining the Mountaineer Nation at the 15 annual Rail Jam hosted by Western students. Cheer on the students as they show off their coolest skiing and snowboarding tricks right on Taylor Lawn. Don’t forget to stop by the Alumni tent to say hi and keep warm during the chilly but exhilarating evening.

Mountaineers Retro Ski Day | February 10 | Crested Butte Mountain Resort

Summiting the slopes in style, let’s throw it back together.

It’s time to hit the slopes Mountaineer Nation. Western Ski Weekend is back again! Join us at Crested Butte Mountain Resort sporting your best vintage gear for a day full of skiing and riding with friends, family and former classmates. Take advantage of our discounts on accommodations, lift tickets, rentals, and more. Don’t forget to stop by the Alumni tent at the base area to check-in and get together for a group photo at 12:30 pm! Join us after the lifts close for an Après-Ski Party at the Lodge at Mountaineer Square.

Après Ski Party | February 10 | The Lodge at Mountaineer Square | 4 pm – 6 pm

There is no better way to conclude a long day of skiing and boarding than with our annual Après Ski Party. Join us at the Lodge at Mountaineer Square Grand Ballroom for hors d’oeuvres, libations and bingo. Bring your friends and family and mingle with former classmates. We can’t wait to see you there. Doors open at 3:30 pm.

Breakfast in the Backcountry | February 11 | Crested Butte Nordic Yurt | 10:30 am

Are you looking for a relaxing way to end the weekend? Join us for a cross-country ski or snowshoe out to the Crested Butte Nordic’s Magic Meadows Yurt. Enjoy a morning bite with Western friends and family and your first drink on us! It will be a relaxing ski or snowshoe to the Yurt with phenomenal views. Rental’s provided by Crested Butte Nordic, reservations required. Just let them know you’re with Western Ski Weekend.
