Western Colorado’s football team is known as the Mountaineers, competing at the NCAA Division II level within the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC).

The Mountaineers have a proud legacy in football, with 20 RMAC championships, spanning from the mid‑20th century through the most recent win in 2021.

The game’s at Mojo Field at Mountaineer Bowl, part of the Rady Family Sports Complex, the highest collegiate football stadium in the world.
