Three Rivers Resort is located in the historic mountain town of Almont, Colorado on the Taylor River.

A wonderful Rocky Mountain destination ideally located between Gunnison and Crested Butte on the Taylor River. We offer cabins, vacation homes and lodge rooms.

The resort features some cabins dating back to the 1800’s as well as brand new cabins with all the amenities of home.

Blue skies, high mountains, and crystal clear trout-filled waters make our location the ideal getaway. The Gunnison National Forest is literally in our backyard and we are conveniently situated in between Gunnison and Crested Butte.

We stayed in 149 and the heat in the floors was glorious. We took full advantage of the hot tub despite (or maybe because of) the fair amount of snow that fell while we were there. Our family of 11 was perfectly comfortable there. I will say, however, if you have more than 2 couples the bed situation can get a little weird. It all worked out for us though. We had a wonderful time!

It was the best decision for our first time Colorado trip. The staff was so helpful and friendly. We couldn’t get enough of the food from the smokehouse. The fly shop had so much to offer. Willow Fly Anglers guide Audrey led us straight to so many fish. There wasn’t a day we weren’t catching beautiful brown and rainbow trout.

We mainly shopped here this trip. I have eaten here in the past and it was good. Most of the seating is outside on a beautiful patio. There are about 4 or 5 booths inside. The flowers are very nice on the deck. They seem to stay busy. They smoke meat and also serve breakfast. We enjoy this restaurant and store.

Very friendly staff with the best in outfitting, rafting, supplies and food. Could not be happier with this place. Everyone makes you feel welcome. The stores are well stocked with everything you need. The rafting guides are true professionals. The restaurant has amazing food and plenty of outdoor seating with great views.

We enjoy the atmosphere and food at the smoke house restaurant. Jesse and Sarah have taken great care of us. We like the Reuben with smoked corned beef instead of pastrami. The brisket sandwich with Cole slaw on the sandwich is amazing. Also the buffalo chicken sandwich. The fries an buffalo tots are amazing.

love this place because it is very accessible to Gunnison proper. It is easy to get groceries if you need some. I camped and rented on of their cabins. The cabin was clean and complete with things i need specially the cooking ware provided. Staff were so so friendly and very accommodating!
Given a chance to come back to Gunnison, i will not hesitate to take this place again.

We stayed July 2-4 in a cabin. Great place to have a family reunion! We have a pretty large family and they had no problem accommodating us. There’s a covered pavilion that can be rented and worked out great for our family! We had easy access to hiking and rafting directly from this resort. When we return to the Gunnison area, we will be staying here!

This place is amazing! Cabin was pristine, staff was so friendly, restaurant on site has incredible food and our float trip with Audrey Morris was an absolute blast! My father has experienced 50+ float trips and said she was the best float guide he’s ever had, we must have caught 50-60 fish and twice as many laughs. Locals and visitors to the area are kind and We can’t wait to go back again!!!
