Sundays @ 6: Music for the Community – Free The Honey

Join us under the big trees of Legion Park on the corner of Tomichi Avenue and Teller Street on Sunday evenings from 6:00 – 8:00 pm for FREE live music and community family fun. This long standing tradition has continued over the year, come rain or shine, featuring the music of local and regional bands. See you there!

This folk group is homegrown on the western slope of Colorado and offers up old time and original tunes with richly layered vocal harmonies and authentic acoustic resonance.

The elements are familiar — harmony singing, twin fiddle, open back banjo, guitar, mandolin, storytelling, and mountain culture. The alchemy is all their own.

It is a sound inspired by place, community, and deep musical traditions. It revives in the listener a connection to the simple goodness of life, the medicine of string and wood and voice. The band cultivates a pure quality to let the instruments and stories speak plain and true.
