Pearls & Pioneers Outlaw Bike Party
Crested Butte holds a special place in the history and evolution of mountain biking, as does the CB Museum, which housed the mountain bike hall of fame until it moved to Marin County, CA. The museum remains a hub for the sport’s history and culture, where the legacy of mountain biking lives on.
On the eve of the 47th annual Pearl Pass Tour – the ride where it all began – the museum is hosting a casual, happy hour-esque event from 5-7pm for riders and enthusiasts alike.
This year, we are thrilled to have photographer and mountain biking pioneer Wende Cragg share stories and a slideshow of her rare and iconic photographs from the earliest days of mountain biking, including the 1978 Pearl Pass Tour.
We’re also featuring a silent auction with some amazing prizes. Proceeds will support the museum as it works to keep the history and spirit of mountain biking alive and well.
Bring your bike, your family, your friends, and stories to share. The event is open to all ages. We’ll feature a pop-up bar with beer, wine, sodas, and snacks for purchase.
Ticket Price: $15, Kids under 12 are free with adult entrance, Students age 12+ are $5.
Adult Tickets include 1 PBR or N/A Drink.
