Norway Travelog – Fulbright Roving Scholar Renee Brekke-Ebbott

Join us at the Gunnison Library on Thursday, February 2nd at 6 pm for Renee Brekke-Ebbott’s presentation about her recent experience as a Fulbright Scholar in Norway.

Renee Brekke-Ebbott moved to Gunnison from Portland, Oregon in 1994 to pursue her Bachelor’s in Geology at Western and, soon after, Master’s of Education at the University of Colorado.

After twenty years teaching secondary science, she jumped at the chance to take her skills and passions abroad during the 2021-2022 school year.

As a Fulbright Roving Scholar, Renee had the opportunity to travel throughout Norway, immersing herself in the culture, geography and educational system.

Her presentation will provide a glimpse into this once in a lifetime opportunity and inspire others to seek their own adventures outside of the U.S.
