Mountain Roots Food Project Presents: Feast in the Field

Feast in the Field is a true farm-to-table experience.

The food event of the summer will be hosted at Red Dog Ranch in Crested Butte.

Top chefs, including executive chef Dana Zobs of Crested Butte’s Personal Chefs, prepare a feast with passed appetizers and a sit down dinner, showcasing locally raised meat along side fresh vegetables, crisp greens, and sunkissed fruits picked at the peak of summer.

Artisan spirit makers, local brewers, and winemakers including Buckel Family Wine, Distillery 291, and Zuni Street Brewing mingle with guests while noshing on passed hors d’oeuvres and sampling small batch, regionally produced libations. Farmers and ranchers break away from harvest to join the party and share their story of local food and the land that sustains it.

150+ locals, part-time residents, and visitors come together to celebrate the summer harvest and raise support for local food and hunger relief efforts. Our tents and tables are set in the stunning outdoor setting at the base of Whetstone Mountain.

Eating and drinking delicious local food and wine alfresco, with friends old and new in our amazing town is an incredible gift. Biking home from the Feast under a twinkling blanket of starlight is like a second dessert.
