Join the Crested Butte Museum at the Big Mine Ice Arena, the historic site of the Big Mine, for the 2022 Miner’s Ball for a roller skating party on Friday, September 30th!
Dress up as your favorite historic character for a chance to win awesome prizes from the museum. Captain Ellen Jack? Al Johnson? A Jokerville Miner? Kochevar’s Barkeep? A lady of the night from Crested Butte’s red light district in the mining days?
We’ll also be asking a couple of history trivia questions that relate to information found in our exhibits for some great prizes as well, so study up before the event!
This event will be BYOB, and we will have Log Dawg Weiner Wagon on site selling hot dogs, chips, and soda. We highly encourage bringing your own rollerskates since we will have a limited amount available to rent. We’ll have a live DJ for skating around to, and all proceeds will benefit our non-profit history museum.
Family Skate: 5pm-6pm, Open Skate: 6pm-10pm
Location: Big Mine Ice Arena
$10 Members, $15 Non-Members
Non-Member tickets include 1 free day entry to the museum to explore our exhibits and get inspiration for your costume, and study up for the pop trivia!
Members of the museum get free exhibit entry all year long.
