Jim Davidson returns to A Bar Above with his distinct old-school fingerpicking guitar style and baritone voice, performing traditional folk, country, blues, bluegrass and Americana.

Davidson focuses on the fingerstyles of the old bluesmen such as Mississippi John Hurt, Reverend Gary Davis and others, He also play the more modern styles of Merle Travis, Chet Atkins, Doc Watson and Leo Kottke. Jim also sing and cover the styles of Willie Nelson, Colter Wall, Waylon Jennings, Chris LeDeux, Johnny Cash, John Prine, Bob Dylan, Gordon Lightfoot, Ian Tyson, George Strait and many, many, many others.
