Crested Butte Subject to Change Improv Comedy grew out of Crested Butte’s creative and theater community and has been making audiences laugh for years through locally rooted, fully improvised performances.

Formed by a rotating mix of longtime locals, performers, and educators, the group developed its style through regular workshops, community shows, and collaborations with local venues and arts organizations.

Known for drawing heavily on audience suggestions, mountain-town life, and shared local experiences, Subject to Change blends sharp improvisation with an easygoing, welcoming energy.
