11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Join the Crested Butte Mountain Heritage Museum for these new interpretive history tours as we explore surrounding natural areas around Crested Butte and The Gunnison Valley.

These tours will explore the history of the area that we will be touring on and/or the history of a related subject or group of people in the area.

You must provide your own water, snacks, and appropriate outerwear for this tour. We will plan to hike the Copley Lake Trail, although the trail choice is subject to change depending on current trail conditions.

Trail Information: 3.5 Miles, 1,096’ Elevation Gain, Moderate Rating

We will meet at the Crested Butte Museum for check-in at 11am. Van transport is included in the ticket price to the trailhead and back to the museum, however you are welcome to take a personal vehicle to the trailhead if you prefer once you check in at the museum.
