Father’s Day Backyard BBQ Bash

Fire up the grills and bring on the buns — it’s time for the Backyard BBQ Bash!

Celebrate Father’s Day the Gunnison way on June 13th from 4–8 pm at Legion Park.

We’re throwing the ultimate backyard‑style party with yard games, a bouncy house, great music, and a grand prize stuffed cooler valued at $200 for the winning dish.

Fathers, this is your moment to shine. Bring anything that’s served on a bun — pulled pork, hot dogs, brats, burgers, you name it.

If it fits on a bun, it’s fair game. Bring your best, grill your best, and maybe even win big.

Grab your dad, your family, and your appetite.

Let’s celebrate Father’s Day with good food, good fun, and a whole lot of backyard bragging rights.

Set up will be at 4pm for all entering a dish, and we recommend families come starting at 5pm to try dishes and enjoy some fun!

Ps: you do not actually have to be a father to enter the cook off. All may enter a dish if they want!
