Elk Ave Historic Walking Tours
Crested Butte became a registered National Historic District in 1974 to preserve our distinctive buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Join us on an Elk Avenue Walking Tour to learn about the history of the buildings, mining history, and stories from the community.
Our regularly scheduled Elk Avenue Walking Tours will resume in March 2023 on Wednesdays at 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm, and meet at the Museum at 4th and Elk Avenue.
Tours cost $20 (members) and $25 (non-members). We offer private walking tours outside of these regularly scheduled times for $25 per person, at a minimum of 3 people or $75 per tour.
