Lani Bruntz is a professional mountain guide, ski instructor, and outdoor adventurer known for her deep experience in backcountry skiing, guiding, and avalanche education. Born and raised in Vail, Colorado, she started out as a Division I Nordic ski racer in college before moving into alpine and backcountry terrain. After several years of racing, mountain biking, and long-distance travel, Lani transitioned into guiding, becoming a seasoned lead guide for organizations such as Irwin Guides and other high-alpine operations.
She has over a decade of guiding experience, including work as a cat skiing guide and heli ski guide in places like Iceland, and excels at connecting with guests while navigating varied mountain environments and snow conditions. Her background also includes avalanche instruction and writing/film projects about mountain travel and safety.
