Adult FRIDAY Evenings in April : One Time Wheel Throwing Class

This is a one time, 2 hour wheel throwing class where beginners can experience throwing clay on the potters wheel. We will focus on the basics- wedging, centering, lifting the walls and shaping the clay. Each participant can keep 1-2 peices. At the end of the class, you will pick a glaze color.

Studio staff will take care of the rest which includes: trimming your pieces, drying it slowly, bisque firing it and then glazing your work and firing it in the glaze kiln. As you can see, this takes a while. Your work will be ready for pick up in 2-4 weeks.

If you need your pieces shipped to you, that is an additional cost of $40, and you can purchase that here.

*Please note that there is a lot that can happen within each step of the process and there is no gaurantee that your piece will make it. We will try our best and they usually come out of the kiln just fine but there is always the chance that it won’t. So come for the experience and have fun!
