This innovative service replaces the Snodgrass/Columbine routes and offers a more efficient and accessible way to explore North Mt. Crested Butte. Unlike the old bus route, which served only 25% of homes and had lengthy wait times, crested butte free shuttle service ensures that 100% of homes in the area are covered, with a swift 15-minute response time. Starting November 22, 2023, this fare-free, on-demand transportation service will pick you up right at your front door and take you anywhere within the service area, including Mountaineer Square.
If you’re staying in North Mt. Crested Butte, this means you can easily hop on FirstTracks to get to your favorite dining spots or to connect with the Town Shuttle, which will take you to even more culinary destinations in downtown Crested Butte. With service running from 7:15 AM to 12:15 AM, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the local restaurants, whether you’re grabbing breakfast before hitting the slopes or enjoying a late-night dinner.
