Mountain Express (MX) provides ground transportation services to residents of, and visitors to the Towns of Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte and the surrounding community. MX provides services without charge to riders.
The Mountain Express Summer Town Shuttle will run Nov 26th, 2025 through ski season. The Town Shuttle runs every 15 minutes between Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte. A few other things to note: Mountain Express transports bikes and buses are dog-friendly, ADA compliant, and free for all!
