MTCB Playground Grand Opening

The Town of Mt. Crested Butte invites residents and visitors to celebrate the grand opening of the new playground at Ted Scheske Park (911 Gothic Rd.) on June 9, 2026, from 10 a.m. to noon, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m.

Come enjoy the new playground, a family-friendly scavenger hunt, special giveaways, and light snacks. This free community event is a great opportunity to gather, play, and celebrate this exciting upgrade to our Town Park.
