Live Music: Bassiah at Jose Crested Butte
In the beginning, Bassiah arose from the sacred womb of the Earth. From the depths of a shadowed cave, he crawled forth, his spirit nourished by the primal essence of nature itself.
His heart, untainted, beat in rhythm with the wild winds, the untamed rivers, and the endless sky. Yet, in time, the shadows of man’s greed and corruption touched his soul, and he saw the world, veiled in darkness, not yet ready for his true purpose.
So it was that Bassiah withdrew, retreating into the heart of the ancient mountains. For fifteen cycles of the sun, he dwelt in solitude, where the whispers of the wind and the songs of the trees became his guide. In this sacred space, he sought communion with sound, weaving the vibrations of the earth into his music.
And then, when the trees spoke in whispers and the spirits of the mountains stirred in their slumber, Bassiah knew it was time. Emerging from his retreat, he carries with him the sacred bass vibrations, to awaken the people from their slumber. His music is the call to remember their essence, to remember the wildness, to remember the freedom that flows within their veins.
Bassiah’s journey is now one with the rhythm of the earth. And as he steps forward, he reminds the people: You are wild. You are free.
