The same race you love, or perhaps have always wanted to try, returns to where it all began in Crested Butte, Colorado in 2025.

Bring your family and friends to this three-day festival, plan to make some new memories, and get ready for some all-out racing!

We kick off this anniversary year on Friday, January 24th, with a welcome party up at the Elevation Hotel with PBRs provided to participants and a full menu available from Jose restaurant to purchase, along with music from the incomparable Wiley Jones!

Saturday, our Championship Race will be 5 laps, while the fun race will be 3 laps. Championship Race finishers receive a retro FBW leather flask. Free Zuni beer for all racers and participants.

After the race on Saturday we will have an awards party at the CB Center for the Arts complete with Zuni beer for racers and a band.

Sunday at 10am, join us for the Zuni West Brewing Group Ride. We’ll meet at Zuni Brewing in CB South, ride fat bikes, then guess what… drink more Zuni at the Brewery!

The race course will consist of a 4.9 mile, 5-lap race with a total of 330 feet of climbing per lap.

• The Fun Race will consist of 3 laps
• There will be no pre-riding the course–PLEASE respect this!
• We are using trails that are not normally open to fat biking.
• Must be out on last lap by 2pm–cutoff time strictly enforced!
