Saxophones, organs, and drummers . . . oh my!

Psychedelic Stirfry is a budding collective of some of the Gunnison Valley’s finest musicians.

Lead by vocalist and keyboardist Julian Young, the group aims to experiment with and reframe a broad repertoire of jazz, pop, and rock anthems. You can find him with Easy Jim, Music of the Grateful Dead; as well as solo all throughout the Gunnison Valley!

Ripping the saxophone is Matt Shugert; a local talent also seen in the Black Canyon Ramblers and Matt & Madeline. Matt flaunts masterful jazz vocabulary and playful artistic attitude.

The drum machine, Ben Wright, whom you know from Doctor Roberts and Easy Jim. Unshakeable and responsible.
