Riah and Emily met in 2020 guiding multi-day raft trips on the Rogue River in Southern Oregon. To say they hit it off would be an understatement. In addition to guiding boats down the river, someone also had to take on the role of “Food Dude”. This person was responsible for grocery shopping for 4-5 days worth of meals for 25 people.

Typically a solo venture, Riah and Emily often found themselves on the mission together. After a few weeks of knowing each other, Riah invited Emily to move out to Crested Butte, Colorado and their journey as friends and future business partners began.

One thing they have always prided themselves on is their ability to work efficiently while staying organized. Riah and Emily will work to provide you with the exact same thing- an easy and organized way to take the stress out of grocery shopping.

Food Dudes has been a game changer for our family. We travel to Crested Butte several times a year. It allows us the opportunity to plan a little better AND ensure we are always shopping local in CB/Gunnison and not shipping in food. The website is very easy to navigate and gave lots of options. Its very helpful to repeat customers as you can save your preferences for next time. We had an incredible experience with Food Dudes. We placed the order right before we left from Denver/Boulder. When we arrived in Crested Butte, the kitchen was completely stocked. There were a few items that the grocery store didn’t have, so the Food Dudes team called us with suggestions for substitutes. Their ordering platform, communication, and recommendations made the experience five stars. The handwritten note thanking them for our business was a nice touch — I will be using this service next time I travel to Crested Butte!

Ordering ahead with the Food Dudes absolutely made our vacation!! When we arrived to our rental, our order was not only waiting for us–it was put neatly away in the refrigerator and pantry areas. We did not have to go to the grocery store for anything, and the order was perfectly precise. The website was easy to use, and Emily called us from the grocery store when she had a question. We had a very big order for food and we were so pleased with the quality of choices. I can’t begin to tell you what a fantastic idea this is to make vacations easier for families. Emily and Riah rock!!
