Gunnison Backcountry by Horseback

Explore the Gunnison County by horseback! Here’s your chance to join Erin and friends on a ride through some of the most beautiful country on the Western Slope! You’ll learn about backcountry horseback riding, local history, and more.

Provided: Horse, saddle pad, saddle, and bridle.

What to Wear: Long jeans, cowboy boots or boots with a small heel, hat that stays on well (i.e. baseball cap), sunglasses, layers in case it gets hot or cold.

What to Bring: Water, lunch/snacks, rain jacket/slicker

*Events priced below $100 are non-refundable. For all other events, a 50% refund is available until two weeks prior to the event. After this deadline, refunds can not be provided. All event costs cover expenses such as permitting by the appropriate agency for special use, professional guide licensing, and outfitter insurance.
