Colorado Public Lands Day Beers, Bands, and Barbed Wire Strands Bash: Day 3
Colorado Backcountry Hunters & Anglers is throwing a weekend festival on Colorado Public Lands Day (May 19th – 21st) and we are bringing public land champions from across the state to the I Bar Ranch in Gunnison for the biggest public lands party of the year!
Talented local bands, great sweepstakes prize packages, vendors, bonfires, onsite camping, food, beverages, and camaraderie are all on tap for this event.
DAY THREE
• 9:00 AM – Check Out Time We realize this is early, but it is important that we respect the needs of the I-Bar. Please have your camp packed and immediate grounds cleaned around you.
This event isn’t just about having a great time. Participants and sponsors will help to remove around 5 miles of barb wire fence to improve habitat connectivity for wildlife. Join us and let’s demonstrate the power of the public lands community and our commitment to our wildlife resources.
Public lands are vital to our Colorado way of life. They provide us with adventure and solace, support our local communities, are the foundation of our outdoor recreation economy, and they are critical to supporting healthy wildlife populations.
This is a Rain, Snow, or Shine Event. The workday may be cancelled or delayed due to inclement weather and road conditions, however the I Bar Festival is on either way. Bring clothes for all possibilities. Remember there is no such thing as bad weather in Colorado, just poor layering choices.
