CB Wildflower Fest Workshop: Alcohol Ink Painting on Yupo

Join our 2023 poster artist, Carol Ann Rasmussen, in thisfun workshop where you will learn a unique style of painting using alcohol inks on Yupo paper.

Unlike normal paper, Yupo paper does not absorb the ink, rather the ink floats and changes like a kaleidoscope for about three minutes before drying.

The colors produced through this process are brilliant, and each painting contains an element of surprise.

During this workshop, Carol Ann will share how she has developed her own techniques to control the inks to create beautiful wildflowers as seen in the 2023 Wildflower Festival Poster.

The class is suitable for all levels, including those who have never painted before. Participants will complete at least one framable painting while having fun playing and experimenting along the way.
