2024 Oh Be Joyful Steep Creek Race

The OBJ Race is on for its 4th year in a row!

Here’s your chance to go fast and claim the glory or crash hard while doing so!

Sponsored by High Country Conservation Advocates. Located at The O Be Joyful Recreation Area.

Standard format as the last few years, fastest time wins. Racers will paddle OBJ at 2 minute intervals and have two chances to set a fast time.

After the race there will be food at the OBJ Campground where racers are also welcome to camp for free the night before and after the race.

Flows should be great but we will keep people updated as things melt out up high.

There will be safety set up as always but racers must have previously paddled OBJ and be comfortable in class V steep creeking rescue skills.
