Come dance and sing — and show some love for Crested Butte Community School — on Friday, May 6, for a Karaoke Dance Party at Tully’s in CB south at 6:30 p.m. featuring DJ Triple L, aka Lunch Lady Laura, everyone’s favorite KBUT DJ! Proceeds benefit CBCS Teacher and Staff Appreciation Program — which supports over 90 teachers and staff throughout the CBCS K-12.

Tickets are now on sale and include drinks, heavy apps and all the entertainment you can imagine as community members belt out their favorite karaoke tunes. There will be a live auction, as well, with packages perfect for summer. Dress in your best CB flair — wigs, boas, costumes are encouraged! The CBCS PTA hopes not only to raise some fun, but some much-needed funds, as well. This event will be the grand finale to National Teacher Appreciation Week, May 3-6!

We’ve kept ticket costs low so everyone in the community can attend. Tickets cover the cost of the event. Please consider giving an additional amount to help us reach our goal of $10,000 to make this event a successful fundraiser for our hard working teachers and staff. Proceeds will fund CBCS Teacher and Staff Appreciation Program, which include substitute incentives, teacher meals, classroom grants, teacher wellness program and end of year taco truck.
