Wonderful Nepalese, Indian, and Thai-inspired dishes. The naan is quite good – nothing fancy, just done right. The hot chai tea is a great drink on a cold day.

We had Sherpa Cafe cater our wedding 4 weeks ago and it was absolutely incredible! Our original caterer backed out less than 3 months before the wedding, and Sherpa made that incredibly stressful experience so easy and seamless to figure out. We worked with Ang for all the planning and he was so great and easy to work with! The food ended up being absolutely delicious, it was incredibly reasonably priced, and I can not tell you how many guests at our wedding told us how good the food was, how much they loved it, and how glad they were that our original caterer fell through since Sherpa Cafe was just that delicious! Highly, highly recommend them for any event you need catering for as well as for anytime you are in Crested Butte visiting! Thank you so, so much for everything you did to make our wedding day perfect!

The vegan & vegetarian options are amazing! I was struggling to find some solid options, and this place did not disappoint. The veggie momos and samosas are a must. You also need to ask for their habanero hot sauce… wow!

The service is always great as is everything on the menu. I love the samosas, naan and the korma. The Sherpa stew is incredible, good comfort food. It’s one of my favorite places in town

Such a lovely place with good, hard-working folks. Got to meet Sis and Aria while I are the most delicious meat/veggie/dumpling stew with garlic naan. Grateful for the hearty meal and good company.

Ordered a to-go. The veggie korma and fried rice tasted yummy!!!! The fried was customized and made spicy for me. Loved it totally. Highly recommend this place for people visiting CB.

Got into Crested Butte Sunday evening and set out for dinner after a long day of travel. Turns out there’s not a ton open on Sundays in CB, but Sherpa Cafe was there for us and they did a great job!

You can sit indoors or outdoors; the inside is snug and cozy with not a ton of seating. The single-person bathroom was clean and tidy. We were happy to hang out outside and people watch.

Service was very polite and sweet and got our orders out quickly and efficiently.

We shared orders of samosas, garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and chicken momo.

The samosas were light and crispy, not greasy at all, and came with a lightly spicy dipping sauce that we all liked. The chicken tikka masala was super creamy, maybe a little on the sweet side compared to other versions I’ve had, but still delicious with the perfectly aromatic basmati rice. Weirdly enough, the garlic naan was the weak link — it wasn’t buttery / crispy enough for me. Still enjoyed it, but I’ve had better. Lastly, the chicken momo were tender, flavorful, and numerous. We don’t have anywhere to get momo in our home town so they are always a huge treat!

Woh, that was delicious. We were blown away by how good the food was. We started off with the samosa, then had the chicken momos, and the chicken korma. The samosas and the korma was just outstanding. The place wasn’t crowded and the staff was really friendly. We would gladly come back.

The Sherpa Cafe is one of my absolute favorite places in Crested Butte and Gunnison. Their entire menu is mouth-watering and soul-warming. I always order garlic naan, Tikka Masala, and momos. The spinach Saag is so good too! Chow Mein is another favorite, and the dahl soup is perfect for a cold winter day. They recently started doing delivery, which is amazing! This Nepalese food is as authentic as it gets, and the staff is superb as well.

Amazing place. The food is great; there are tons of delicious options. Staff here are super nice and offer up a wealth of information on the area! Totally recommend coming here for their food!
